ANSWERS TO COMMON QUESTIONS
How far is the beach from the retreat?
Castle Cove beach is approximately 500m walk from the Retreat.
Do we need a car to get around?
Yes. There is limited public transport on the Great Ocean Road. If you do not want to drive we recommend contacting the Great Ocean Road Shuttle service.
Can I stay one night?
We have a two-night minimum throughout the entire year. If you are doing the walk, we recommend basing yourselves at the retreat and using the Great Ocean Road Shuttle service to get to and from your walking points each day.
Can I bring my dog?
We have a small yard attached to Riverside apartment. We will consider small dogs in off-peak periods by prior consultation only. No dogs during holiday periods or in other apartments.
Where is the closest supermarket?
There are supermarkets at Apollo Bay, Colac and Geelong. We recommend bringing your grocery supplies when you arrive as the nearest store is 30 minutes drive. There is plenty of storage in each apartment for food and grocery items.
Is there WIFI?
There is currently no wifi at the retreat. Mobile phone service is limited so be sure to bring your details with you when you arrive.
